Message From The President:

I have been advised that as-builts and LOA's are being scanned by the FD to the DOB in a timely manner but the FD has been receiving calls of late indicating that the documents have not been posted on the DOB website.

Each borough DOB office has their own procedure for scanning the documents onto the DOB site and their own timeframe.

Further, in the boro of Queens, it seems that if the documents are not scanned in a certain period of time then they are not scanned in.

If any of our members are able to speak with the boro offices, please do so to insure that our documents get scanned into the system in a timely manner.

Golf Outing-The catering facility at the South Shore Country Club has lost its lease so we are seeking another venue to hold our golf outing. If you are aware of another club which may want to host our outing or if you have any suggestions, please forward them to Karen at the office by email.

We are finalizing plans for an "extended meeting/vendor show" in May. There will be more information on this presented to members at our meeting on March 23rd.

Once again, thanks to Miles Fisher and Serge Budzyn, PDH credits will be provided for this meeting. The CEU/PDH certificates from the January meeting were mailed out this week.

Our website has been completely redesigned! Many documents have been added, categorized and can now be found in individual “Libraries” and color coded. As new documents are added the NYFAA mailing list will be notified to visit the website. If you come across any documents or if you have additional ideas for the website, send us an email. Advertising is available on the website as well. If you have an interest please inquire by email info@nyfaa.org

Mark Your Calendar! The NYFAA symposium will be held this year on Wednesday May 18th. Much more information to follow.
